Reimu has the potiential to play either DPS or as a Spell Caster. Her spells are do very high damage and can stun for long periods of time. One of her skills allows her to teleport, and coupled with its stun, Reimu can easily gain an unfair advantage over the enemy. Patchouli is literally a powerhouse spellcaster. With the ability to deal massive amounts of damage with her spells and even stun for long periods of time, and her Last Word which allows her to rapidly cast those spells, she is indeed one of the best spellcasters in the game. However, she is rather fragile.
A unique character that is able to create a clone of herself that can use her spells, if upgraded. She is able to hold enemies for a period of time and dash into combat. Her spells are fairly strong on their own, and if doubled, can be scary. Furthurmore, she is able to Counter damage with her Last Word, making her a difficult character to pin down, having a variety of stuns (and pesudo-stuns), a slow and even a dash.
Eirin is a dedicated healer, having an aura and two active abilities that heal. Her Last Word is true to her nature as a support hero, allowing her to immobilise nearby enemies in a large radius for allies to take down. However, she is rather fragile and lacking in terms of offensive skills.
Situational. Mokou is a truly situational caster, with the ability to deal damage to a target based on its Stats and control an enemies for a short period of time. Nevertheless, Mokou has one of the highest spell damage output and being a strength hero gives her the benifit of having high health. Her Last Word deals massive damage in an area and can be devastating. However, a tough character to pull off, since all of her skills require aiming or specific situations to be useful.
Suwako has the potiential to devastate in fights, wielding several powerful Area of Effect spells, if left alone. In addition, she has the ability to sleep off damage, regenerating health and mana at an accelerated rate, allowing her to never have to return to base for regeneration.
Thoughtless Not-so-Thoughtless Daughter of the Heavens
Tenshi makes up for being a melee character with her high spell damage, a pair of stuns, a defensive spell and even a Last Word capable of sieging. Truly one of the scariest characters, whether built as a DPS hero or as a spellcaster.
Suika is one of those heros that are capable of doing two different things. Having strong disables, she can play as a supporting ganger or with her self-buffing skills, she can also play out as a DPS character. Regardless, both can be potientially gamebreaking.
At first glance, Remilia might confuse you. As a Strength hero, she has a higher Agility growth than Strength. However, she does have very strong spells and even a passive which allows her to play as a DPS hero. Remilia is a deadly hero in the right hands.
Iku has the benifit of having high magicial reduction, which allows her to excel against enemy spellcasters. In addition, she can also completely nullify spell damage, not to mention deal lots of it as well. She also has a low cooldown ability, which can make it difficult for the enemy to lane against her.
Arguably, one of the best DPS characters in the game. Sakuya specialises in single target elimination, with her Eternal Meek providing her monsterous amounts of attack speed, if she does not change target. She is also capable of completely freezing time, allowing her 7 seconds of uninterrupted attacking. A well used Sakuya can easily turn defeat into a victory.
Despite Kanako's low spell damage output, she is an aggresive spellcaster armed with a variety of stuns and slows - even an ability to return damage. Having her on your team is a strong disincentive for your enemies to simply throw out Area of Effect spells.
Flandre will simply blow away any character - possessing extradinary stat growth and Laevatein, a passive critical skill, she is one of the best melee characters and even comes equipped with magic immunity. Despite being a strong melee character, she also has a stunning trap, a barrier spell, and a Last Word that deals large Area of Effect damage, stuns and even damages buildings.
Jack of all Trades, Master of None. Sanae is capable of assuming multiple roles at once - pusher, spellcaster, support or sieger. True to the saying, however, she lacks focus and therefore is not as strong as other characters when forced into a single role.
Teamwork, postioning and timing define Komachi. Her spells require some coordination to ultilize to their maximum effect. She is able to swap locations with another unit, pull enemies along with her, halve the health of a target and even exchange health with another unit. On her own, she may not be very strong, but in a team, she can easily swap out an enemy for an easy kill, while escaping unscratched.
"The Fastest in Gensokyo" is truly a fitting nickname for Aya. She has the highest base movement speed and high agility gain, in addition to being an agility hero. She is armed with high amounts of Area of Effect spell damage, and two or her spells can disable for long periods of time (2 seconds and 6 seconds), allowing her to be useful not only in the early phases of the game, where spell damage is at its peak, but also during the later parts of the game, where disabling skills are important.
Alice possesses firepower, and she packs quite a lot of it too. Her spells either stun, do high damage or both. She is, indeed, a strong spellcaster. In addition, her Last Word also allows her to remotely damage enemies and structures, allowing her to participate in fights with minimal or no risk.
Like her partner Alice, she has many stun moves and great power. She is capable of leading ambushes with her *bike* ambush from a far distance. She can also lead the battle with a Last Word that stuns every enemy in very wide AoE with high damage.
A decent melee/spellcaster character, equipped with the best stunlock AoE in the game. Even though they are winning by far, opponents cannot relax until the game ends because combination of her Last Word and the others' AoE spells always can turn the table. She can also silence and burn mana of a single target to seal the significant enemy target constantly.
Kaguya is very support-concentrated character, with 4 support spells. She can simply be a healer; set a target's HP at fixed value to prevent them from dying, or cast shield of fire that deals damage to nearby enemy that also increases a huge ammount of armor.
One of the three ranged STR character in the game. She normally plays a role of DPS and siege with her passive ultimate skill and Last Word. She can also be half-spellcaster with her revenge spell and her high HP regen.
One of the best spellcasters in the game, and decent melee. Thanks to her stupidity(⑨...), she gains no INT but has high STR stats that lets her have high base HP to survive. Her spell combinations following by her Last Word, which freezes everyone in the map, can deal strong damage to multiple oppoents.
A spellcaster hero with passive gold farming ability Her ability of attracting treasures lets her earn money faster than other heroes. She is the best counter against most spellcasters due to her spell-counter passive.
A *fishy* hero with invisibility ability, slow and stuns. While being invisible, he cannot use any spell but items. Using this feature, he often takes damaging item, sneaks into the back of enemy and uses items to deal damage. His mass AoE stuns and slow moves also take a huge part in the battle.
A hero having massive slow effects and stuns. She is capable of playing both melee and spellcaster, but not as powerful as other heroes. However, once she hits 15 and learns passive Last Word, she becomes all-around character and can surpass anyone.
Mainly a hold character. She doesn't have any stun, but she has various slow/hold moves that can help ally. She can also perform melee, but not really effective. However, her ultimate spell is what makes her bright in the game.
If you got the same lane with her, you can complain to god for your bad luck. No one can surpass her harassing ability with her basic spell+one of normal spells in early game. Furthermore, later, she obtains defense methods such as avatar and damage return as well.
One word for her, destructive. With the control over nuclear power make her able to emits explosion around her and having high damage while sacrificing her armour, making serious threat to her foes. When you see her start to glow, you only have 10 seconds to escape or will be seriously nuked.
One of the best pushers in the game. Her massive summons of creeps can push structures faster than any other heroes when there is no enemy with effective AoE that can wipe out summons quickly. She can also be spellcaster or melee.
A melee hero who gains extraordinary power at night like Nightstalker in DoTA. By her passive spell, she becomes really fast and her skills get additional option only in nighttime, which makes most of characters no match for her. However, once the night is gone, she becomes relatively fragile.
A hero capable of playing both melee and spellcaster. Her critical hit is so powerful that sometimes just one blow can finish the squishy enemy. With high STR, her ultimate spell and Last Word deals really strong damage while holding a target.
Don't face her if you don't have AMS or high hp pool. Manipulating unconscious, she can move around while not being detected by opponents. In addition to this invisible ability, her spell combinations deal fearful damage over 5 seconds that fragile heroes can't survive without using AMS. She is also capable of being melee and siege. And her ultimate gives her extra stat gain per kill. Making her stats grows higher than other spellcaster late game. Her Last Word heals percentage of allies max hp per second making her great assets in the game.
Another deathbringer for those who don't have AMS. Her spells are relatively hard to hit, but once they go in, they show us the result as "instakill" or "half-dead." Like Mokou, she lacks stun move to hold opponents while casting her powerful spells. So she normally gets any item that gives her an ability to cast Cyclone or Elec Stunner.
A character capable of playing both spellcaster and melee. Her power is fairly weaker than others as both melee and spellcaster. However, once she learns her Last Word, her power will be doubled in its duration.
A support character, and potential spellcaster. Compared to Kaguya and Eirin, she supports allies in more aggresive ways. She can cast an optical camouflage that stuns nearby enemy when hit, or pull the single enemy from far distance. She also has AoE healing spell with short cooldown as ultimate spell.
A character with the highest STR stat in the game. Using her parasol shield, you can make her even more tank, though she normally plays melee or hold. She is also the only character who has global hold spell in the game.
Probably the most annoying character in the game when you're the enemy of her. She is specialized at harrasing enemies with various abnormal status spells such like silence, sleep, stun, and reverse control. Her Last Word often starts the battle with the ability of making opponent heroes lost control for several seconds.
A tricky character capable of playing melee, spellcaster and support. She can turn back time, cast a buff that gives target a chance to evade any kind of damage, and can even prevent allies from dying when killed, restoring them to full health. She is also one of only three ranged STR characters in the game.
The more sin you commit, the harder punishment you take. It's the concept of this character. Her spell damages are mainly depending on the kill-death of a target. Her single normal spell can deal up to 1k damage on mass hero killer while it does almost no damage to those who don't have much kills. Even if they were dominating the game until then, opponents cannot feel reasured once she hits 15 and starts to judge the sins of every enemy in the map.
A character normally used as spellcaster. She can also melee with armor reduction, but due to her inferior stats, it's not as effective as spellcaster. Because most of her spells use bugs dealing physical damage, armor reduction makes them really powerful.
Farmer in early game, and killer in late game. With the skill that allow her to get gold or random items, making her the best farmer. Synergies with skill that deals extra damages depending how much gold you have. Also 2 skill that makes her invulnerable. Overall she is defensively aggressive.
With the ability to teleport anywhere in the map, making her the best ganker in the game. Plus she has a passive aura that slows nearby enemies. With the proper timing, she can gank unsuspecting enemies while slowing them, making sure they're having a hard time to escape while you gank them with your allies.
Rather unique hero. Her basic abilities grant her allies a chance to get extra gold when killing enemies. And a confusing skill to make enemies sees her as allies. Also her Last Word that teleport her and her nearby allies, useful for chasing and escaping
One of the two strongest spellcasters of Touhou12(UFO). Her fisting moves deal huge damage while stunning them for fairly long duration. She also has a lot of STR as INT her, which makes her tank, but she rather lacks mana.
A flawless character that is top tier as both melee and spellcaster. The only weakness she has is that she doesn't have any method to hold enemy. With teammate's AoE stun, her Last Word can wipe out everyone in AoE regardless of how much HP they have.
Undoubtely the strongest ranged melee character. At lvl 15 she blessed with high hp and mana regen, fast attack speed and movement speed, plus huge stats bonuses depending the skill you pick. Sadly she has lacks skill to disable enemies.
The other one of the two strongest spellcasters of Touhou 12(UFO). Her early game ganking is a pain for opponents because of her crazily strong Lv 4 Anchor and AMS-ignorant combo. She can also play melee. With her passive spell and enough attack speed, she can show enemy what 'perma stunlock' truly means.
A random hero;I mean, seriously, everything of her is random. Her main stat, base move speed, stats, and range differ every game. Whether she goes melee or spellcaster normally depends on her above random factors.
The creator of Touhou series. Due to his love towards alcohol in the reality, this character, in the game, uses many skills regarding alcohol. He normally takes a role of pusher with his summons;creations.
A hold/support character. Enemies will have a huge trouble dealing with her due to her basic spell as good as other Lv5 normal spell even without upgrade, and invul/counter spells. Even if they succeeded to kill her, a grudge of red kappa will revenge the one who killed her over 60 seconds.
